Nottingham Castle NewsOpening on the Saturday 15th February, a new exhibition at the Castle features the extraordinary work of 19th century glass makers, Rudolph and Leopold Blaschka. Read on (ie click on the title of this story or where it says "read more" below) if you want a ticket to the Private View of the exhibition on Friday night...

Exquisite models in glass of jellyfish, squid and other sea creatures are accompanied by contemporary work by artists including Dorothy Cross and Mark Francis.

This is a touring exhibition organised by the Design Museum, London in collaboration with the National Glass Centre, Sunderland, and supported by the Arts Council of England National Touring Programme.

The first person to email me on Valentines Day can have a ticket to the Private View of the exhibition at the castle at 7-9pm, complete with complementary drinks. The exhibtion opens to the public on Saturday and entry is free during the week. For further information from the Castle please call 0115 9153700.
