Café Scientifique is a weekly series of talks on scientific and cultural themes held at the WAX bar at 27 Broad Street. You can eat at the cafe and then listen to distinguished speakers from academia hold forth on a diverse range of topics and then argue with them. December 15:'Wax in your ears' - an exploration of the nature of music, with members of the East Midlands COMA (Contemporary Music for Amateur Musicians ) ensemble celebrating the end of the fifth year of Cafe Scientifique & Culturel at WAX Bar!!
