Park NewsThe Park Conservation Trust would like your views on matters relating to planning and development within the estate. Their questions can all be found in the latest copy of Park News. This has now been scanned and placed in the photo gallery. You should read the articles entitled, "Special character of the Park under threat" and "Saving the Park" and then send your answers to the Barry at the Estate Office by emailing to barry@nottinghamparkestate.co.uk. Click on "read more..." to see the questions.
The questions are as follows:

1. Do you think the planning and architectural quality of the Park is threatened?

2. Do you think there has been too much building development?

3. Do you feel that the cumulative effect of small repair and alteration work is affecting the character of the Park?

4. What do you think of rendering over original brick or stone boundary walls?

5. The trees are a major feature of the Park. Do you have any comments regarding their condition?

6. Have you any views on the condition and appearance of the sports areas (tennis, bowls, squash) in the Bowl of the Park?

7. What do you think of the grassed area at the top of Tennis Drive called the Paddock?

8. Any views on traffic, car-parking or garages?

9. Any views on street signs and street lighting?

10. Any views on Newcastle Circus or Lincoln Circus?

11. Do you think that more of the original houses should be "listed" on a national or local list to provide protection against insensitive change?

12. Do you know what you can alter or build in the Park without planning approval?

13. Do you feel that the Planners do enough to enforce protection of teh buildings in the Park?

14. Would you like to see any particular part of the Park improved or protected?
