Park News The Park Conservation Trust would like your views on matters relating to planning and development within the estate. Their questions can all be found in the latest copy of Park News. This has now been scanned and placed in the photo gallery. You should read the articles entitled, "Special character of the Park under threat" and "Saving the Park" and then send your answers to the Barry at the Estate Office by emailing to barry@nottinghamparkestate.co.uk. Click on "read more..." to see the questions.

Park News Several residents of Newcastle Drive have have asked for help in opposing a development of two new houses on the sliver of land opposite 19 Newcastle Drive. You can read a letter from Dr Robert Hay of Newcastle Drive which describes how you can respond to the planning application by clicking here. Website News I'm about to do another mailshot of the entire estate to promote the website. It's about 8 months since the last one. Hopefully this will encourage greater participation by residents. Apologies to those of you who will receive an unneccessary leaflet.

If you have any news which you think should be displayed on the website, please let me know by emailing webmaster@TheParkEstate.com. It would be much appreciated.

Park News Every Sunday night, dozens of cars gather for the races around the Broadmarsh Centre and up and down Castle Boulevard. I've often thought it was suprising that the police didn't seem very interested in what was a regular event where speeds of up to 70mph were achieved. The racers had their own website at one time and I even heard one of them complaining at a public consultation that the redevelopment of the Broadmarsh would spoil their circuit!

Anyway, it looks like the police have decided to do something about it after all.
