I've used a lot of skips in my time and hope you will find this useful.
I mainly hire the 8 cubic yard (8 ton) size.
The first skip (inc licence) should be £164.40 - further (replacements) are £146.88,
A few firms insist on a 7-day hire and some are quite snotty about it.
I always use Total Reclaims Skips tel 9421963 from whom Ive had skips for up to a month at a time without them complaing.
Their smaller size 4 cubic yards (4 ton) costs £105.75 for the first one.

Prices are current (July 2006) and relate to Total Reclaims Skips whom I've found
the cheapest and most freindly and helpful company.
