www.TheParkNottingham.co.uk is 7 years old. That is an extraordinarily long time for a website to have gone without a major redesign and it is now looking very tired and out of date. I propose to rebuild the website from scratch over the next couple of months using the same system that Barack Obama has recently used for the redesign of www.whitehouse.gov (actually I suspect he may have got someone to do it for him). When the redesign is complete, this site will disappear, along with all its content, images and user accounts and you will be asked to re-apply for membership of the new site. Watch this space...

After a long delay and having been offline, I have finally restarted the competition for May. Click on Competition in the left hand menu and answer the question to have a chance of winning a meal for 2 with wine at Nottingham's best public house in the Lace Market. These meals have been greatly enjoyed by those who have been fortunate enough to win and the small number of entries gives you a very good chance of winning.

News: The Discussion Forum is back

After many months absence, the discussion forum has been recreated. I had to disbable the old one because hackers were using it to vandalise the website. We will now have to wait and see if the new one is any more secure. You can find the forum by clicking on "Discussion Forum" link in the menu on the left.

News: New Domain Name

This website now has a new domain name. I did not have ownership of the previous domain and it became necessary to change it rather than continue with the risk of it being withdrawn. The new domain name should have some positive impact in that it more accurately identifies the site as a UK based one and this will enhance its performance with search engines.

The discussion forum has been temporarily disabled after Turkish hackers used it to deface the site over new year. When I find a new and more secure version of the software, it will be re-instated. I apologise for the interruption of this service.

This website has now moved from its old server. Some of the old features are not yet working fully and will gradually come back online as I get the time to rebuild it. Please bear with me, normal service will be resumed as soon as possible.
