There will be 16 gardens open in the 2007 Park Garden Trail - an event which is now held only every alternate year.This year the gardens are very varied: from the large and old established with mature trees and shrubs to the very recently landscaped, from large to very small, from sunny to shaded. Details of the gardens and a map are in the programme which visitors receive as they pay to enter. Teas will be served in two of the gardens and at the Tennis Club. In other gardens you can relax with a glass of Champagne or local beer , cool down with an ice cream , view the work of local artists, purchase plants, local honey or garden 'decor'. Sytners are once again marking the entrance to each garden with the latest models of their luxury cars. All the money raised at the Trail will go to local children's charities, mainly to Rainbows in Lougborough which is the only children's hospice in the East Midlands. THE PARK GARDEN TRAIL 2007 will be held on SUNDAY 10th JUNE 1.30pm to 6.00pm. Many gardens open to the public. Teas, ice cream and champagne available. Transport between gardens. The garden trail has been taken over by the residents' association and this year there will be guided walking tours of "Buildings and architecture of the Park Estate".Tuesday, May 31, 2005 - 11:45 AM

The Park Garden Trail will take place of May 22nd 2005. All proceeds will go to Rainbows Children’s Hospice, Nottinghamshire Royal Society for the Blind, the Early Start Nursery and the Nottingham Guides Ranger and Trefoil Guild for disabled children.Please see the press release here and the map here Monday, June 23, 2003 - 12:12 PM
Photos from The Park Garden Trail are available in The Photo Gallery. If you have any more pictures please upload them or send them to me. The event seemed to go very well and was very well attended as far as I could see. It was a beautiful day, probably the hottest of the year so far. The event raised just under £8000 for the NSPCC.

The Park Garden Trail will be on Sunday 22nd June 2003. You can help out by making a cake or providing plants/cuttings for a stall. Or if this isnt possible could you help on the day, it lasts from 2pm until 6 pm. This years good causes are the NSPCC and Rainbows Hospice (a local charity). My telephone no is 9473471, Maggie.
