Welcome to TheParkNottingham.co.uk

Park House, 1900This is a website for residents of The Park Estate, Nottingham, UK. It allows residents to log in and contribute to the site. You can participate in discussion groups, upload photographs, submit adverts and news.

The Park Estate is one of the most remarkable residential estates in the UK and home to some magnificent Victorian architecture. We have the largest gas street lighting system in Europe which makes the estate particularly atmospheric at night. Our skyline is dominated by Nottingham Castle and the estate once held the Castle deer park and fishponds.

If you have not already done so, please create an account for yourself with a user name and password and you will then be able to participate. Hopefully we can create a useful community resource. If you are having difficulties, read Getting Started which is also listed in the menu on the left.

Thanks, Paul (webmaster@TheParkNottingham.co.uk)

Please note: There is no connection between this website and Nottingham Park Estate Ltd or The Nottingham Park Residents Association. It is entirely my own work as a private individual.

Website News www.TheParkNottingham.co.uk is 7 years old. That is an extraordinarily long time for a website to have gone without a major redesign and it is now looking very tired and out of date. I propose to rebuild the website from scratch over the next couple of months using the same system that Barack Obama has recently used for the redesign of www.whitehouse.gov (actually I suspect he may have got someone to do it for him). When the redesign is complete, this site will disappear, along with all its content, images and user accounts and you will be asked to re-apply for membership of the new site. Watch this space...
